You will receive instructions with your bezel. Installation is very simple. No modifications to the vehicle or climate controls are needed with this bezel. Everything is completely reversible.

Q: Where do the seat heater buttons go?
  A: Your options are: move them to the armrest cubby, or the sunglass holder/ashtray or get the new style climate controls with the heated seat buttons built in. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306230
Q: Does the install require cutting the factory wiring?
  A: No cutting of any factory wiring. It's completely reversible.
Q: Do the steering wheel buttons still work?
  A: As with any aftermarket radio, you need an adapter to retain use of steering wheel buttons. You need the PAC SWI-CAN2 and the correct adapter for the aftermarket radio you'll be using. Look here for a list of SWI- adapters and the radios they work with.
